A Good Night’s Sleep

After a long day, how many of us can look forward to getting into bed and having a good night’s  sleep?  Research carried out by Opinion Matters in 2013 surveyed 5007 adults and found out that  the majority of Britons (70%) now sleep for seven hours or less per night, with more than a quarter  (27%) experiencing poor quality sleep on a regular basis. Getting Better Bed-u-cated Will Guarantee Yourself a Good Night’s Sleep   When it comes to purchasing a new mattress, most people will wait until they are suffering from  lack of sleep or a cricked neck before they even consider buying a new one, but it’s so important  for our physical and mental health that we don’t allow an uncomfortable bed deprive us  uninterrupted rest. Continuing to sleep on an old or poor mattress can only contribute to aches and pains, but it can  also seriously affect your health both physically and mentally. According to studies, a good night’s  sleep can help avoid any unnecessary worry and stress and can also help you to lose weight. None of us would join a gym and exercise in the wrong trainers and so why do so many of us  ignore the signs that our mattress just isn’t good enough?  Many people are still unaware when it is  the right time to buy a new bed and of course, cost is also a huge factor in consumer behaviour. The Sleep Council is all about helping you get a better night’s sleep and if you’re unsure about  whether you need a new mattress or not why not give your bed an online MOT. One of the top new mattresses on the market at the moment is the Octaspring from Dormeo, available from a number of bed stores across the country. Linthorpe Beds is just one of the many stores […]
